My career began in publication design and nonprofit marketing. I went on to co-own a design agency creating marketing materials for nonprofits, then moved into web design, where I fell in love with layout and space planning. Today I’m a senior designer on an agile team of 7 at ParentSquare, where we build hundreds of custom K-12 school websites each year and scale up for the April–July “Back to School” rush.

With 20 years in visual communication design and a UX/UI certification from Google, I’ve grown into a systems thinker. I use training in prompt engineering and generative AI imagery to speed up our workflow, and I build custom tools, like a batch WCAG contrast checker, to make accessibility reviews faster. I also created a library of Canva templates that helps schools keep their brand consistent after launch, and I’m collaborating on a company-wide user persona project. My goal is to create high-craft, empathetic digital experiences that support the future of learning.

Outside of work, you’ll find me soaking up the sunshine, cheering at a youth sporting event, exploring new places with my family, or tackling a home design project.
